Brand

Woodin owes its name to a British citizen, Mr. Woodin, who lived in Ivory Coast back in 1890. CFCI Textiles, a French company established in Ivory Coast specialized in printed fabrics, bought over his company in 1911.

In 1985 CFCI-Textiles launched new products under the Woodin brand so as to be the first in a new market with an intermediate product offering a better price quality ratio and designed for a young, urban and active population.

The first products of the brand are rapidly becoming very successful in Ivory Coast and beyond its borders.

Woodin has developed into a very promising brand and is still growing from strength to strength. More than just a brand, Woodin becomes is label of quality and fashion offering every year new collections with patterns reflecting authentic African designs in a contemporary translation. Woodin’s product range can be found in a network of shops throughout Africa. Creativity, quality and uniqueness are the key success factors for the brand.
